Perfect Pairing to your Event

Semiahmoo Resort’s food & beverage event selections incorporate high quality, local and fresh ingredients, highlighting our Northwest waterfront destination. Whether your event is a breakfast, luncheon, themed dinner or guests simply grabbing a break between sessions, our chef and onsite bakery is committed to providing the perfect pairing to your event.

The food, beverage and miscellaneous prices quoted are subject to a 21% service charge and applicable Washington State sales tax. In accordance with Washington State liquor laws and our banquet license, all event food and beverage must be provided by Semiahmoo Resort and may not be removed from the event space.

Facility Fees and Guarantees

The Catering Department must be notified of your guaranteed number of guests, as well as your entrée-split count, by 12 o’clock noon, three business days prior to your event. Once received, the number will be considered a guarantee and is not subject to reduction. In the event of an increase in attendance, additional charges and fees will apply. Please refer to the Plated Menu section for procedures on selecting starter, entrée and desserts for plated menus. There is a $4 per person back-up/labor fee for events held in any outdoor function space, excluding the tent pavilion. Semiahmoo Resort requires all outdoor events to have back-up space in case of inclement weather.

Payment Policies

The booking fee for each event is specified in your contract. Social functions must be prepaid two weeks prior to the event date. All meeting and event functions must have a valid credit card number on file. Semiahmoo Resort will only bill customers who have an established direct bill account with our Accounting Department. You may request an application if you are interested in setting up a direct bill account. Direct bill requests must be submitted no later than three months prior to the date of your scheduled event.

Shipped Material and Decorations

All shipped materials should be addressed to Semiahmoo Resort c/o Catering Department (see address below) with your organization’s name, event room and date of function clearly marked. Due to finite storage limits for conference shipments, packages should not arrive more than three days prior to the opening event date. Special requests for storage must be directed to your Catering representative. Semiahmoo Resort will not accept or sign for COD shipments.

Pens, note pads, mints, water pitchers and glasses are included with standard meeting room sets. Linens, centerpieces, complimentary buffet decor and specialized e-invitations to assist in attaining plated meal choices from your guests are also available.

Your event room will be accessible prior to your scheduled start time. Actual time is subject to business levels. Ask your Catering representative regarding specific requests on set-up time and decoration guidelines. Semiahmoo Resort will not be responsible for any materials left behind after your event.

Audio-Visual Equipment

Audio-Visual services are provided from our in-house operators and can be coordinated through your Catering representative.
