Dinner & Dance Series
Beginning this Spring Semiahmoo Resort will host a series of Music, Dancing, and special Culinary preparations in our
Pierside Restaurant and Grand Ballroom, and later this summer on the Seaview Terrace and the outdoor Golf Pavilion at Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club.

- June 19: Jon Mutchler Jazz Trio on the Seaview Terrace with special menu selections served waterside.
- July 3: Jennifer Scott Trio playing on the Seaview Terrace. This group swings hard whether interpreting American jazz standards
or singing beautiful Brazilian melodies in Portuguese.
- July 10: Blues Union on the Seaview Terrace. A soulful groove machine lead by B-3 organist and singer John Carswell.
Playing hits from Ray Charles, Percy Mayfield, Mose Allison and other greats from the blues genre.
- July 12: Ballroom Dancing with NAPU next to the water in the Dockside Tent. Includes appetizers
and a one hour instructional session before the dancing begins. $15 per person.
- July 17: Fritz & The Freeloaders on the Seaview Terrace. Performing acoustic rock, pop and country. All decades, from Elvis
to Green Day, from the Beatles to Britney Spears. Warm & fun!
- July 23: Trish Hatley & The Kiss of Jazz playing on the Seaview Terrace with barbecue Dinner.
- August 9: Ballroom Dancing with The Prawns in Pierside restaurant. Includes appetizers and
a one hour instructional session before the dancing begins. $15 per person.
Bicycle and Kayak Rentals *
Bicycle and Kayak Rentals are available daily (June – September) through Paddle and Pedal Adventures, located on the beach behind the resort between the old cannery warehouses. Kayak to the underwater shipwreck behind the resort or take a leisurely paddle along the shores of Drayton Harbor. Explore the miles of paved and wooded trails around the Semiahmoo Community on a mountain bike or a tandem bike. Trail Maps are available at the front desk, as well as picnic lunches with advance notice. Pick up a brochure at the front desk, visit them at their tent behind the resort

Whale Watching, Island Tours and
Charter Fishing from Semiahmoo Resort *
Private Charter tours are available daily (May – September) through Outer Island Expeditions, leaving from the back dock at Semiahmoo Resort. View Puget Sound whales and wildlife up close on 3-4 hour excursions, take a guided kayak tour around Sucia Island State Park (only 17 miles out from the resort), explore the pristine waters of the San Juan Islands with a stop off at historic Roche Harbor for ice cream, shopping or a lighthouse tour, or take a half or full day fishing expedition for Halibut, Ling Cod, Rockfish, and Dungeness Crab. Ride the Historic Plover *
(Weekends Memorial Day – Labor Day)
Ferry service between Semiahmoo and Blaine harbor. The Plover leaves Blaine Harbor on the hour and leaves Semiahmoo on the half-hour and includes brief tours of Semiahmoo and Drayton Harbors.
Friday & Saturday – Noon to 8pm
Sunday 10 am to 6 pm

Join us on select days at 7pm in the Discovery Theater with acclaimed Film & TV critic Ron Miller as he discusses his personal association and
interviews with legendary film and TV celebrities such as Lucille Ball, Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, Alfred Hitchcock, Bette Davis, Barbara Stanwyck,
Elizabeth Taylor as well as Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie and George Clooney, among others. Along with his personal anecdotes with these stars,
Ron will show clips and, occasionally, full length films from his personal collection. Spring Lecture Series is as follows:
- June 23: "An Evening with Bob Hope" will feature Ron's account of how he became a regular member of Hope"s media "family" in the '80s.
Plus Ron talks about his private interview with Hope's favorite leading lady, longtime friend & neighbor; Dorothy Lamour.
- June 30: "The Fondas" features film clips reviewing the careers of
Henry, Jane and Peter Fonda with personal stories of this extraordinary show business family.

Drayton Harbor Maritime Museum Donations are welcome
Learn about Semiahmoo's fish cannery days dating back to 1894 by visiting the Drayton Harbor Maritime Museum.
The museum is devoted to featuring the history of the Alaska Packers Association and its impact on the area. The museum is
open weekends year-round, Friday through Sunday from 12 - 3 pm. Located at the park entrance and one mile from the
hotel, it is convenient to stop by while biking or walking the beach shore path.
Mt. Baker Ski Area Seasonal
Mt. Baker Ski Area sits at the edge of the wilderness in the heart of the Northern Cascades of Washington state. Surrounded by wilderness area,
national park and spectacular rugged mountains, the scenic setting of the ski area is uniquely beautiful. From I-5, take Exit 255 and follow
the Mt. Baker highway (Highway 542) 56 miles to the ski area.
