Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration in Downtown Blaine!

Come spend the day celebrating the 4th of July in Blaine. Thousands of people come to celebrate with day-long activities that include a pancake breakfast, parade at Noon, art & crafts street fair with over 80+ vendors, show & shine, live entertainment and plenty of great food. Get your spot in Blaine Marine Park for a community picnic and jazz concert. Ride the historic Plover Ferry all day from Blaine to Semiahmoo spit where you can pick your favorite spot to watch the fireworks over Semiahmoo Bay!

Drayton Harbor Music Festival

July 6 – 12
Six exciting days of rehearsals, combos, improv, composition, and other great classes for teens with an internationally recognized faculty culminating in a jazz concert featuring student big bands, combos and vocal groups PLUS multiple performances by visiting jazz artists. Sponsored by the Pacific Arts Association, an all volunteer organization, that produces annual series of concerts by professional artists throughout the year in Blaine at the Blaine School Performing Arts Center.

Seventeenth Annual Peace Arch Park International Sculpture Exhibit

Since 1997, this exhibit has featured 125 international artists and 171 sculptures and been seen by over 5 million visitors from around the world. The international fine arts program features outdoor sculptures in Peace Arch State Park’s magnificent gardens with some sculptures placed in downtown Blaine. Mount Baker Rhythm & Blues Festival

The Lynden PRCA Rodeo began in 2004 and in the years since has hosted many of the biggest names in Rodeo. Professional rodeo action consists of two types of competitions – rough stock events and timed events – and an all-around cowboy crown.

9th Annual Bite of Bellingham

Bite of Blaine

This annual event brings together local restaurants and area food confectioners from Blaine and Birch Bay serving up tasty samplings. Attended by hundreds of hungry people this event is sold out every year.

Ski to Sea Race & Festival

Every Memorial Day weekend this Northwest tradition draws thousands. The 90-mile seven-stage, seven-sport relay race extends from the Mt. Baker Ski Area to Bellingham Bay.

15th Annual Semiahmoo Bay International Sailing Regatta

A 2-day annual yacht race featuring the best of the US Pacific NW fleets and the best in Western Canada. This race takes place on the border between White Rock, British Columbia and Blaine, Washington. Also features mini sailboat races (sponsored by West Marine and the Blaine Sailing Program) and a Sunday BBQ at the Blaine Harbor Marina.
